What's Missing in Your Body?
Deficiencies of certain minerals, salts and vitamins can cause many of the symptoms of illness. Vegetable juice are categorically listed and their elements carefully explained in "Fresh Juices", from the Walker Library.
It is important to drink fresh juices, and also eat raw foods, since they act as an intestinal broom. However, solid food requires many hours of digestive activity before its nourishment can become available to the cells and tissues of the body. The benefits of pulp - free juice are immediate
The Norwalk Hydraulic Press Juicer removes the fibers of vegetables and fruit as it extracts the juices. When you drink the juices, they go directly into your blood stream with the nutrients actually feeding your body cells within ten to fifteen minutes. And all this with no effort on the part of your body for digestion and assimilation.
A Raw Food Regimen, while desirable, is impossible for many Even if we could consume the quantities and kinds of foods necessary to have strong healthy bodies, we might not have the time to eat them. Even if we did, dental problems might prevent proper chewing. Advancing age or illness could diminish food intake and reduce the ability to assimilate.
Dr. Walker became known as the leading expert in the field of raw juice therapy when he opened the Norwalk Laboratories of Health Research in 1910. His research in the benefits of raw vegetable and fruit juices prompted him to begin production of a hydraulic press juicer.
The Norwalk Triturator Hydraulic Press Juicer was originally developed by Dr. Walker. From his original designs, the development of the present-day Norwalk evolved. This design enables you to process all growing foods quickly, easily, and efficiently.
Through the use of the Norwalk Ultimate Machine, it is possible for anyone to achieve their goal of a raw food regimen through pulp-free juice and chopped raw salads. Through fresh raw foods, you can receive the nutrition you need - the natural way.
Raw foods as a dietary health treatment was first developed in Switzerland by medical doctor Maximilian Bircher-Benner, inventor of muesli. After curing himself of jaundice by eating raw apples he conducted experiments into the effects on human health of raw vegetables. In November 1897, he opened a sanatorium in Zurich called "Vital Force," named after a "key term from the German lifestyle reform movement which states that people should pattern their lives after the logic determined by nature". It is still treating patients today. Other notable proponents from the early part of this century include Norman W. Walker, inventor of the Norwalk Juicing Press, Max Gerson M.D. who used a diet to cure Albert Schweitzer of type 2 diabetes after previously curing Schweitzer's wife of pulmonary tuberculosis when all conventional methods had failed. "In a carefully monitored clinical trial, 446 out of 450 skin tuberculosis patients treated with the Gerson diet recovered completely."
